The City Council’s Finance Committee, chaired by
Councilmember Mitch Gruber, will conduct an extensive public analysis of the
Mayor’s proposed 2024-25 City budget.
The process will consist of individual public review sessions
with each City department that will take place over a three-day period, May 29, 30 and 31.
The budget hearing process provides an opportunity for citizens
and business owners to watch the Council’s in-depth review of the Mayor’s
proposed spending plan.
The hearings will be streamed live on the Council's Facebook
Page and YouTube Page, and will be broadcast live on City 12, the City's government access channel
that is available to Spectrum Cable subscribers – Channel 1303.

9:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Overview (Budget At-a-Glance, Community Input & Summary Sections)
10:00 – 11:30 a.m. – Administration (Mayor’s
Office, OMB, HR, Communications, Law)
11:30 – 11:45 a.m. – Break
11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Undistributed
& Contingency
12:30 – 1:15 p.m. – Lunch
1:15 – 2:45 p.m. – Finance
2:45 – 3:00 p.m. – Break
3:00 – 4:30 p.m. – Neighborhood
