Description

In 2022, the City of Rochester commissioned a year-long study to create a Rochester Public Market Master Plan. The primary goal of this plan was to develop recommendations that help perpetuate the growth and influence of this important community asset. The Public Market C Shed Replacement Project is an architectural and engineering services project that aims to advance through the construction documents a key recommendation of the Master Plan--to develop a new, enclosed shed to replace the market’s existing, open-air C shed. The City of Rochester will solicit for future funding to support the construction phase of this project.

This project has been determined to be eligible for use of ARPA funds pursuant to category 2.22 Strong Healthy Communities: Neighborhood Features that Promote Health and Safety. The City recommends that Respondents familiarize themselves with the resources available on the ARPA page of the US Treasury website.

The RFP includes a draft scope of services, proposal requirements, M/WBE participation, and City provisions.

 

Pre-Proposal Meeting

A pre-proposal meeting for interested consultants will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 15.
Location: Rochester Public Market, 280 Union Street N, Rochester NY 14609 (meet outside market office building)
