The City Minority and Women Business Enterprise team is working with a collaborative of workforce development agencies to host the Skilled Trade Training Information Expo at the Monroe Community College Downtown Campus, 5th Floor, 321 State St.
Participants will meet representatives of agencies that offer training programs to enter the skilled trades, including community colleges, the Urban League and OACES. The expo is among the recommendations of the Commission on Racial and Structural Equity and seeks to expand the minority and women skilled-trade workforce to facilitate MWBE purchasing goals.
