(Tuesday, March 14, 2017) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren today announced that the City is delaying refuse and recycling collection one day for the remainder of the week due to the weather conditions. Wednesday’s collection will take place on Thursday, Thursday’s collection will take place on Friday, and Friday’s collection will take place on Saturday.
The delay will allow the City to use refuse equipment for assistance with plowing operations should the weather necessitate it.
Motorists are encouraged to adhere to posted alternate side parking regulations to enable City crews to plow the streets more effectively.
