Description:

Presenter: Margit Brazda Poirier, M.S., GPC, Owner of Grants4Good LLC

How do we keep growing, serve our mission, and keep the doors open? Nonprofits are often faced with these questions and the challenge of finding and receiving grants. However, on average, only ONE in every 10 grant proposals is accepted. What can nonprofits do to increase their chances of getting grant funding?

During this presentation you will learn:

  • The #1 thing EVERY nonprofit MUST DO in order to get funding that many are missing.
  • How your nonprofit can stand out from the competition so they are eager to fund you!
  • A CRITICAL step overlooked by most nonprofits when writing grant proposals.

Margit Brazda Poirier, a nationally certified grant professional (GPC) and Owner/Founder of Grants4Good LLC, created the company in 2009 to help nonprofits and businesses find and get grants. Margit has written and received numerous grants from federal, state, foundation and corporate sources - and she has the unique perspective of understanding both grant seeking and grant making, given her experience leading a prominent New York foundation. Margit is a nationally published author and frequent speaker on all aspects of grant development. Her passion is teaching others about the power of grants so they may turn their ideas into reality.
