(Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018) -- “Today’s news about the
forthcoming closing of two Tops Friendly Markets in the city of Rochester is
very sad for our neighbors who rely on these stores,” Mayor Lovely A. Warren
said. “I am grateful that Tops has pledged to help employees keep their jobs by
placing them at other locations, and I encourage those who patronized Tops to
continue to shop local and support nearby city establishments.”
