The 911 Center can notify residents of Monroe County by cell phone call or text message of major incidents in their area. By registering your cell phone when Police or Fire Officials need to notify residents in an emergency 911 will call your home phone. You can elect to receive either a call to your cell phone or a text message with the information about the incident.
