City 12 TV
Rochester's Government Cable Access Channel
City 12 is Rochester’s government access channel providing a “destination” for information and entertainment for urban lifestyles, careers and pastimes. The objective of the channel is to provide information about City services, programs and events in addition to important news about City, State, national and world issues, with informative and educational programs covering a wide variety of interests and issues through award-winning news and children’s shows. In addition, City 12 promotes the City of Rochester by highlighting initiatives and programs of the mayor, special events produced by the City, projects, people, parks, and any positive activity happening in the city.
Rochester City Council meetings and Council committee meetings are broadcast live each month on City 12. Council meetings are generally held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Council committee meetings take place over a two-day period, generally the 2nd Wednesday and Thursday of each month, beginning at 3:30 p.m. on both days. Day 1 meetings consist of the Parks & Public Works and Neighborhood & Business Development committees, while the Recreation & Human Services, Public Safety, and Finance committees convene on Day 2. However, at times this schedule may be subject to change. See the complete listing of live air times and rebroadcasts of City Council meetings and committee meetings. In addition to airing on City 12, these meetings are also streamed live on the Council’s YouTube channel.
