The historic Susan B. Anthony neighborhood was the recipient of street improvements designed to encourage revitalization and spur the redevelopment of underutilized properties. In addition to new sidewalks and curbs, special enhancements like ornamental lighting adorned with Anthony’s image, an inlaid granite strip called the “Heritage Trail” pointing to her residence, a pocket park, and pillars marking historical locales, were constructed to support current businesses, attract new development , and complement the rich heritage of the neighborhood. |
