About the Facility

The Port of Rochester Terminal is a 70,000 square foot structure located on North River Street at the mouth of the Genesee River.  It was constructed in 2004 to accommodate a ferry, cruise ships and other lake-going vessels.

The first floor features an atrium main concourse, which accommodates several restaurant and retail businesses.  The Departure and Arrival Halls, situated on the river side of the building, are available to the public for special events and community meetings. The first floor also includes space for Customs and Border Protection operations, arriving and departing passengers, as well as a vehicle staging area.

The second floor contains two main areas: the Pier 45 restaurant and catering business (operated by the Rochester Riverside Convention Center) and City administrative offices, conference rooms, and commercial office space available for lease.
