News Release - Free Job Search Series at the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County

(June 10, 2009) - The Job Information Center of the Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County and Rochester Works are sponsoring a free series of job search workshops in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building located at 115 South Avenue, Rochester.

These free workshops will occur on six consecutive Thursday evenings starting June 25. There will not be a session on Thursday July 2. The workshops will run from 6:00 – 7:30 PM and will cover the following topics:

June 25 – Kick Start your Job Search
July 9 - Is Your Resumé a Sales Brochure?
July 16 - Resumé Review (limit 15 people)
July 23 - Ace Your Interview
July 30 – Networking With an Attitude
August 6 - The 50+ Career Search (2 hours)

Pre-registration for these free programs is required. Register by calling the Central Library at 585-428-8130 or register online at www.libraryweb.org. Click on Events & Classes.
