Rochester Police Chief David T. Moore is pleased to announce that the Rochester Police Department has met the standards to receive re-accreditation based on the standards set by The Commission On Accreditation For Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
In August of this year, the RPD went through an evaluative process to determine whether our Department’s policies & proced
ures are in line with the standards set by CALEA. However, the RPD not only met the standards, we exceeded them. The RPD has been deemed as a CALEA Flagship Agency, representing an extraordinary example of excellence in public safety, recognizing our agency as a potential resource for future and current CALEA clients.
Chief Moore will accept the prestigious honor on behalf of the RPD and the City of Rochester in mid-November in Salt Lake City, Utah at the CALEA Conference.
