(Jan. 4, 2010) – The Business & Social Sciences Division of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County and the SUNY College at Brockport Small Business Development Center are sponsoring a free program on Wednesday, Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building located at 115 South Ave.

Small Business Advisor Carla Vazquez and experts from the Rochester Procurement Technical Assistance Center will present “Minority and Women-Owned Small Business Procurement Opportunities and the MWBE Certification Process.” The program will address how small businesses can identify potential government agency customers, the process for selling to government agencies and the advantages of MWBE Certification for bidding on contracts.
