(January 15, 2010) - The Business & Social Sciences Division of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County and the SUNY College at Brockport Small Business Development Center (SBDC) are sponsoring a free program on Wednesday morning, January 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building located at 115 South Avenue, Rochester.

Jim Soufleris, Certified Business Advisor, and local experts will present “Small Business Financing in Turbulent Times.” The program will cover government guaranteed loan programs and bank financing options that are available for the small business owner and start-ups. Topics will include credit requirements, the loan underwriting process, general loan procedures, and components of a successful business plan—all important aspects of securing a loan in a stormy economic climate.
