Oxford Street in Rochester's Park Avenue Neighborhood is well known for its manigicent row of Magnolia, which are in bloom right now. This magnificent display of color is short lived but dramatic. For some area residents, a trip to see the Magnolias is an annual tradition, along with a visit to one of many shops and restaurants in the surrounding area. The Oxford Mall extends from Monroe Avenue to Park Avenue.
The Park Avenue Neighborhood is a good example of one or Rochester's urban villages, a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood where stores, restaurants, offices and other services are supported by the residential neighborhoods that surround them. These businesses, in turn, create a host of amenities that drive the residential property values of the neighborhood.
