News Release - City of Rochester Kicks off Free Noontime Concert Series Downtown

(Monday, July 12, 2010) - The City of Rochester will hold a series of five outdoor concerts again this year in Aqueduct Park, next to the Main Street Bridge, on five consecutive Wednesdays beginning July 14 at 12 noon.

The schedule is as follows:

July 14: 40 Rod Lightning (alternate country);
July 21: CRP Unplugged (Cross Roads Project, acoustic country);
July 28: Bachata Jazz (latin jazz);
Aug. 4: Todd East and Friends (jazz);
Aug. 11: Special Blend (pop, rock and roll).

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch and lawn chair and enjoy the free concerts in this lovely park on the corner of Main Street and Graves Street. The concerts will be held rain or shine. There will be no alternate rain dates or locations.

The Noontime Concert Series is produced by the City of Rochester and is sponsored by Thomson Reuters and Canandaigua National Bank & Trust.
