(Friday, June 1, 2012) — Join the City of Rochester Bureau of Recreation for its MVP Health Care Tuesday night bike rides and Thursday night hikes throughout the summer.
The first Tuesday bike ride is June 5 at 6 p.m. The 10-mile jaunt will take bike riders downtown, around Corn Hill and through the Susan B. Anthony neighborhoods and Genesee Valley Park. Bikers should meet at the Pont de Rennes Bridge at High Falls.
The first Thursday hike, scheduled June 7 at 6 p.m., is an exploration of the stunning Turning Point Park. Meet at the Boxart Street lot to participate in the hike.
These free rides and hikes are part of the City's annual Flower City Looking Good series of outdoor activities and events. Note that bike rides in the series are not appropriate for children under age 12.
