News Release

(Monday, March 18, 2013) – Mayor Thomas S. Richards and the City’s Bureau of Recreation are inviting youth ages 13 to 18 to register for a free, week-long Biz Kid$ Camp to be held during Spring Recess, April 1 to 5. This business education camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, at Cobbs Hill Park’s Tay House Lodge, located at 85 Hillside Avenue.

Biz Kid$ camp also teaches youth how to look and act at a work place. Campers will receive real business cards, a canvas briefcase, a calculator and a receipt book to help them start and maintain their businesses. The end of the week culminates with campers presenting their business plans to a review panel for a chance to win cash prizes.
