"A Beautiful Place to Rest: Rochester's Mount Hope Cemetery" marks the 175th anniversary of the landmark through a photographic exhibition at the Link Gallery in City Hall. The exhibit features the photography of David C. Gaudioso and explores how the cemetery grounds provide a beautiful and tranquil place for both temporal and eternal rest to travelers on their way.
An opening reception for the art show will be held on Thursday, August 1 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Link Gallery and is also open to the public.
David C. Gaudioso is a Rochester-based photographer who specializes in wildlife and landscape photography. Since 2011, his work has been used to promote Mount Hope and Riverside Cemeteries.
