Description: | The City of Rochester and the Univesity of Rochester are proud to hold the Rochester Employment Training and Career Fair, a three-day event to promote and encourage minority recruitment and hiring in the city.
Wednesday Aug. 21 and Thursday, Aug. 22, will feature workshops related to employment training. Topics will include effective cover letters and resumes, finding jobs and internships, applying and testing for civil service jobs, interview techniques and strategies, using the internet to search for job openings and preparing for a career fair. Pre-registration for the Employment Traning is required. Registration for Aug. 21 & 22 session is is closed.
Friday, Aug. 23, will feature a citywide Career Fair featuring more than a dozen employers. See the Career Fair webpage for a complete list.
