News Release - Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park Ice Rink to Open for the Season Sunday, Nov. 24

(Friday, Nov. 22, 2013) – Mayor Thomas S. Richards announced today that the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park Ice Rink (formally Manhattan Square Park) will open for skating at noon on Sunday, Nov. 24, and remain open for the season through March 15, 2014, weather permitting. The rink is located at 353 Court St. Downtown.

A dedication ceremony of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 civil rights March on Washington, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7 at approximately 5:30 p.m.
