Experience the beauty of Mount Hope Cemetery in winter on a guided walking tour along flat, paved roads. This tour lasts 60-90 minutes, depending on weather conditions. In addition to general information on the cemetery, the tour includes stops at the grave of Rufus Sibley, a founder of Sibley, Lindsay and Curr; the 1912 chapel; the cemetery's second tallest monument, erected in memory of Hartwell Carver by the Union Pacific Railroad; and the man who inspired "Billy Pilgrim" in Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five.
