News Release - High Falls Center to Close for Holidays

(Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013) – The High Falls Center and Interpretive Museum, located at 74-78 Brown’s Race, will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 22, 2013, through January 1, 2014. The Center will reopen to the public at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 2.

The museum was created in 1992 under a Preservation Covenant with New York State and is supported through funds from the Environmental Quality Bond Act. It has been operated by the Rochester Public Library and the Office of the City Historian since September.

Regular operating hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. To learn more about the museum, visit www.cityofrochester.gov/highfallsmuseum or call 325-2030.
