News Release - City Offices to Close Wednesday for New Year’s Day

 (Friday, Dec. 27, 2013) – City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers and other administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1 in observance of  New Year’s Day. Other City services will be affected by the holiday schedule.

• Refuse and recycling collection will be on regular schedule for Tuesday, Dec. 31. There will be no refuse and recycling collection on Wednesday, Jan. 1 and the rest of the week will be delayed by one day.

• City branch libraries will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1.

• The 311 Call Center will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1.

• City Recreation and Community Centers will be closed on Wednesday, Jan.1. All school based Recreation and Community Centers will be closed from Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 through Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.

• Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1

• The Rochester Public Market will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1.
