Description:

Presenters:  Charles Mulham, Jason Zamaloff, and Scott Heagney
Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, United States Department of Justice

New York State has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, yet violence and illegal weapons are a continued concern in our community. Find out from ATF authorities what types of weapons are being recovered in our area, how guns move from the legal to the illegal market and ‘time to crime’, what is involved in a background check and what happens to that information, and what types of
investigations ATF conducts in our area to stem the flow of illegal weapons.

Tuesday Topics programs run from 12:12 to 12:52 p.m. and are held in the Kate Gleason Auditorium on the first floor of Central Library's Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building.
