News Release

(Monday, Dec. 23, 2013) – City Neighborhood and Business Development Commissioner R. Carlos Carballada, New York State Senators Joseph Robach and Ted O'Brien and City Councilmember Elaine Spaull joined owners Roland Perrin and Jason Snyder today at ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Blu Wolf Bistro, 657 Park Ave.

“It is my great pleasure to welcome Mr. Perrin and Mr. Synder to the Park Avenue neighborhood and thank them for the faith they are demonstrating in Rochester with this investment,” said Commissioner Carballada. “I looking forward to watching Blu Wolf Bistro weave itself into the fabric of Park Avenue’s well established dining scene.”

Blu Wolf Bistro bills itself as a “gastropub,” or a neighborhood sports bar that serves gourmet pub food and drinks in an upscale, inviting atmosphere. The bar offers three dozen draft beer options and a selection of 52 wines from throughout the world. The menu features traditional favorites like burgers and fried fish cooked with quality ingredients in a fashion designed to earn the respect of Rochester’s most seasoned connoisseurs of fine food.

The owners boast passion for both food and hospitality and are excited to be a part of the Rochester dining scene

Blu Wolf Bistro has been open since November and employs approximately 40 people.  The exterior of the building has received a face lift with a new coat of paint and visually striking awnings. The interior has been completely remodeled.
