Money Smart Week @ Central Library - Building a Strong Financial Future

Money Smart Week is a public awareness campaign to promote financial education across all age groups. Launched in 2002 by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the program is now active in more than 45 states through national partnerships with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) Cooperative Extension and the American Library Association.

Building a Strong Financial Future is a presentation that helps listeners understand how they can 1. Create an outlook for their finances that will create motivation and discipline, 2. Develop specific, attainable financial goals that fit with their values, 3. Develop the necessary tools for maintaining a simple and effective spending plan, and 4. Create a plan for building a strong financial future!
