News Release - City Offices to Close for Independence Day; Refuse, Recycling Collection Delayed

(Tuesday, July 1, 2014) – City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, administrative offices, City branch libraries, recreation and community centers will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. The Genesee Valley Park Pool will offer open swim from 1 to 4:45 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Durand Eastman Beach will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. depending on water quality conditions.

Additionally, all recreation and community centers will close a 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3.

Refuse and recycling scheduled for collection on Friday, July 4 will be collected Saturday, July 5.
