Property Owners Advised Not To Risk Late Penalties

(Monday, July 7, 2014) – The City has mailed all 2014-2015 property tax bills to property owners who do not have escrow arrangements with their mortgagee. Residential property owners who have not received their tax bill are urged to contact the City’s Tax Information Office at 428-6940, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Property owners are responsible for paying their taxes on time, regardless of whether or not they received their tax bill.

The first installment of the property tax bill is due by Thursday, July 31, 2014. Interest penalties will begin to accrue if taxes are not paid by this date.

Taxes may be paid in person at the City Hall cashier windows, 30 Church St. Taxes may be paid online at www.cityofrochester.gov.
