Central Library - Screening of JULY '64 and Teen Discussion with Darryl Porter

Description:

JULY ’64 combines historic archival footage, news reports and interviews with witnesses and participants to tell the story of three historic days in two African American neighborhoods of Rochester, NY. Darryl Porter, former president of the Rochester City School Board and gang leader in his youth, will lead a discussion with teens after the screening. 

This program will be held in Teen Central, located in the lower Link Level of Central Library.
