City of Rochester

News Release

(Friday, Aug. 22, 2014) – City Neighborhood and Business Development Commissioner Delmonize “Del” Smith, City Councilmember Elaine Spaull and New York State Senator Joe Robach joined owner owner Carmelie Diamond for a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of ROC City Realty Rentals and Real Estate office, 169 Atlantic Ave.

“ROC City Realty is a welcome addition to the Neighborhood of the Arts,” said Commissioner Smith. “We are thankful for citizens who are willing to invest in our city’s future. We wish Carmelie great success for many years to come.”

ROC City Realty is a real estate company specializing in assisting developers and landlords to find qualified residents and in helping clients buy or rent a home. The business offers several unique services such as monthly educational seminars to provide guidance to prospective homeowners in the home buying process and a “Tenant Finder Service” for the apartment developers and landlords.

The ribbon cutting today marks the realization of one of Carmelie Diamond’s greatest dreams. As a professional who spent over 12 years in the real estate field and 20 years in sales, she has always wanted to open her own real estate and rental business. Eager to help people with their housing needs, Diamond’s mission is expressed in ROC City Realty’s slogan, “making Rochester smile one home at a time.”

Business hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday by appointment only.
