Safe Sex Inc. to Host a “Red Party” in Honor of Red Ribbon Week 

(Friday, October 24, 2014) – Safe Sex Inc. will be hosting a “Red Party” in honor of Red Ribbon Week on Thursday, October 30 at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Lodge, 353 Court Street from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The evening will be filled with music, food and dancing. Free HIV testing will also be available. The Red Party is free and will be open to all teens ages 13 to 19. School I.D. is required for admission.

Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that runs from October 23 to 31 to promote drug-free lifestyles and holistically healthy choices in our communities. For more information on Red Ribbon Week visit http://www.nfp.org/.

Safe Sex, Inc. is a youth leadership group committed to reducing HIV and sexually transmitted infections as well as unintended pregnancies among Rochester youth by engaging youth leaders, parents, health clinics and community volunteers to support and promote optimal sexual health for young people. It is a partnership between the City of Rochester Bureau of Recreation, Metro Council for Teen Potential and AIDS Care.
