News Release - Bill Lawler Huntington’s 5K to Impact Downtown Traffic Saturday

(Friday, May 8, 2015) – The annual Bill Lawler Huntington’s 5K will take place this Saturday, May 9, causing temporary street closings. The walk and run begins at 9 a.m. at Matthew’s Grill, 200 East Avenue.

The following streets in the city will be closed for about 90 minutes. These streets will re–open as soon as possible after that time:

  • East Avenue from Pitkin Street to Scio Street;
  • Court Street from Broadway to Exchange Boulevard;
  • Chestnut Street from Pitkin Street to Broad Street;
  • Clinton Avenue from Woodbury to Broad Street;
  • South Avenue from Broad Street to Woodbury Boulevard.
