Visitable Home Design Guidelines (Effective August 20, 2018)
- The Visitable Home Design Guidelines for new construction helps to guarantee that future housing stock can be visited by individuals with disabilities. The new visibility
guidelines provide guidance for all new one and two family dwellings constructed
in the city when supported by any one of the available programs through our
Department of Neighborhood and Business Development.
- These standards were developed in collaboration with the Center for Disability Rights (CDR) and our community development partners.
