(Wednesday, June 14, 2017) - The Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County is pleased to announce that the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce has made a donation to the Friends & Foundation of the Rochester Public Library which will help the Central Library provide businesses with expanded access to IbisWorld State-Specific Industry Reports.

“I’d like to thank the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce for their support of the Central Library’s business focused services,” said Mayor Lovely A. Warren. “The return on investment will be substantial as it allows the Library to offer significant cost savings to local businesses. Giving local business access to the resources they need to be competitive is key to our efforts to create more jobs which leads to safer, more vibrant neighborhoods and better educational opportunities for our citizens.”

“The Rochester Chamber is pleased to help make IbisWorld State-Specific Industry Reports available to our members and other businesses,” said Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bob Duffy. “This adds to our already robust offerings of benchmarking surveys and gives our member organizations even more of the information they need to grow and prosper.”

IbisWorld State-Specific Industry Reports consist of key statistics and analysis on market characteristics, operating conditions, current and historical performance, five-year forecasts on revenue, imports, exports, employment, major industry participants and more. Each week IbisWorld adds new state-specific reports. Industries covered include commercial building construction, breweries, data processing and more. These reports complement the Business Division’s collection of top-tier business intelligence resources, which includes Frost & Sullivan, VentureSource, S&P Capital IQ and more.
