News Release - Bands on the Bricks Free Concert Series Continues Tomorrow with Latino Night

(Thursday, July 20, 2017) – The Bands on the Bricks free concert series continues on Friday, June 21 at the City of Rochester Public Market with a diverse mix of Latino acts with “Latino Night,” planned in partnership with the Puerto Rican Festival.

Music and performances feature MC Franco, DJ Johnny Mambo, Afro-Latino Dance Group, Borinquen Dance Theatre, Sonidos Unidos and Afrikando.

All Bands on the Bricks shows are Fridays from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Public Market, 280 N. Union St. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

The remaining Bands on the Bricks schedule is as follows:

  • July 21 - Latino Night, produced in partnership with The Puerto Rican Festival
  • July 28 – Something Else, with opener Extended Family
  • Aug. 4 – Fastball, with opener Oh Manitou
  • Aug. 11- Driftwood, with opener Thunder Body

Food and drink vendors will be on hand. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs, as seating can become limited on Market grounds.
