(Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017) - Mayor Lovely A. Warren announced today that Rochester Animal Services will host a one-day, free pet adoption event supported by Petco Foundation. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26 at the Rochester Animal Services Center, 184 Verona St. Adoption fees will be waived for all cats and dogs six months and older that are adopted on Saturday.
Animals on stray holds will be available for viewing but are excluded from the fee waiver.
Please bring a collar and leash or pet carrier to ensure that pets may be transported to their new homes safely.
