(Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017) – The City’s Department of Environmental Services’ (DES) annual Fall Loose Leaf Collection Program will continue Monday, Nov. 13 with week three operations. The collection schedule is printed in the City’s “At Your Service” guide and is located online at www.cityofrochester.gov/leaves.
Loose leaves should be raked into a pile between the sidewalk and the curb before the Monday of their scheduled collection week. Residents are reminded not to rake leaves into the street as this poses a safety hazard and can cause storm drains to clog.
The City's Leaf Collection Program will continue through November 24.
Bagged leaves may also be placed at the curb to be collected on regular refuse collection days.
