Dog Park Registration

Each dog using the City of Rochester’s dog park must be registered with the City of Rochester. This is separate from the registration for Monroe County’s dog parks.

Visit the City Clerk at 30 Church St. during normal business hours 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday.  

During the pilot period, only city residents with a licensed dog can register for this dog park. There is no registration fee during the pilot period (ending Dec. 31, 2017).

For each dog, bring:

  • Valid dog license from the City or your town, with current address 
  • Rabies vaccination certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian (not the metal tag)

For each dog, you will receive:

  • A tag. Must be worn by the dog on every visit to the dog park
  • A printed permit. Keep this with you or in your car on every visit to the dog park
  • A code to open the play area gate
