In 2016 Rochester Public Market will once again offer approximately 50 free admission special event days in addition to regular Market shopping days, affording many opportunities to experience and enjoy the Market even more! These special event series and single events have become community favorites and traditions, including Greatest Community Garage Sales and Super Fleas, Flower City Days horticultural extravaganzas, Food Truck RodeosBands on the Bricks, Halloween Eve at the Market (a bonus event added for 2016!), and Holidays at the Market. Imagine dozens of garage sales, all lined up together so you don't have to drive from place to place. You need not imagine it because you can see it for yourself at the Rochester Public Market. An amazing array of collectibles, curios, and much more.

10 a.m.- 12 p.m.


Prime your palate for the best free “tastings” experience in the City of Rochester! The 2016 series, again a partnership with the Democrat & Chronicle and Friends of the Rochester Public Market, will celebrate the colorful diversity of the Market and Greater Rochester community.

Flower City Days at The Market

The Flower City earns bragging rights when the Rochester Public Market comes alive in May and June with row upon row of annuals, perennials, shrubs and garden ornamentation. All available just in time for spring planting.  Bring your garden questions and get answers from the experts.

Food Truck Rodeo 
Celebrate Street Food!

Food Truck Rodeo has quickly become a Rochester tradition. Rodeos brings our community's creative mobile cuisine to the Market. Local brew and bands add to the fun.

Extra Extra! In 2016, we'll host NINE Food Truck Rodeos instead of seven--we'll have TWO FTRs in the months of July and August!

Bands on
the Bricks 

6-10 p.m.

One of Rochester's most popular concert series, Bands on the Bricks proves that the Rochester Public Market isn't just for morning people.

Gospel Jubilee 

Sunday, July 24
4-7 p.m.

Organized by Elim Sanctuary Choir, this event features several inspirational music groups from around the region. Free admission! See the Gospel Jubilee page 

 Bike-In Movie

8:00 p.m.

New Event!  Celebrate Rochester's booming bicycle culture by two-wheeling it to the Market for a free bike-related outdoor movie!

 NEW, BONUS EVENT!  This bonus event is an opportunity for children and families to test out their costumes, get an extra trick or treating opportunity, AND connect with dozens of community organizations and agencies that exist to improve your quality of life.
