Special Events at the Market

In 2017 Rochester Public Market will once again offer approximately 50 free admission special event days in addition to regular Market shopping days, providing many opportunities to experience and enjoy the Market even more! These special event series and single events have become community favorites and traditions, including Community Garage Sales, Flower City Days horticultural extravaganzas, Food Truck Rodeos,  Bands on the Bricks, Halloween Eve at the Market (a new event added in 2016), and Holidays at the Market. Community Garage Sales & Super Fleas  
Imagine dozens of garage sales, all lined up together so you don't have to drive from
place to place. You need not imagine it because you can see it for yourself at the Market.

Flavors of Rochester at the Market 
 and Just Say Yes  to Fruits and Vegetables

Prime your palate for our free sampling series! The 2016 Flavors of Rochester at the
Market  series, again a partnership with the Democrat & Chronicle, Summit Federal
Credit Union, and Friends of the Rochester Public Market, will celebrate the colorful
diversity of the Market and Greater Rochester community.  This year, we'll feature
the  cultures and cuisines of the City of Rochester's international Sister Cities

And once again this year, nutrition experts from Foodlink will be at Market on
Thursdays and Saturdays for Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables: live nutrition demos
 and samplings, focused on ways to prepare healthy dishes with your Market produce!

Food Truck Rodeos 

Food Truck Rodeo has quickly become a Rochester tradition. Rodeos brings our
community's creative mobile cuisine to the Market. Local brew and bands add

Flower City Days at the Market Horticultural Sales  

The Flower City earns bragging rights when the Rochester Public Market comes
alive in May and June with row upon row of annuals, perennials, shrubs and garden
ornamentation. All available just in time for spring planting.  Bring your garden

with NeighborWorks Rochester 

A public celebration of the neighborhoods and neighbors that make our city strong.

the Rochester Public Market isn't just for morning people.

A Rochester holiday tradition for 20 years, Holidays at the Market features dozens
