John Caufield
Fire Chief

Each and every day, Rochester's Firefighters tak their safety message to the streets and fight the goodfight to protect the members of our community. In any organization it is important that effort is properly recognized that success is celebrated.

The Rochester Fire Department has a proud history of service to the people of the City of Rochester. This night we remember the notable events of 2007 as we recognize the bravery, compassion, initiative, leadership and commitment of 55 of our members.

Their stories of neighbor helping neighbor offer us hope and a powerful example of what we can accomplish when we dedicate ourselves to the common good.

We commend them all for their accomplishments and rededicate our efforts as a department to continue their work to make Rochester the safest place possible.
