Project Overview

Aqueduct Reimagined, the centerpiece of the ROC the Riverway initiative, will transform the historic Aqueduct into a central gathering place while improving connectivity Downtown along the riverfront. This will be accomplished through the removal of the upper vehicular deck of the Broad Street Bridge, and creation of a unique, iconic and context-sensitive public space at the Aqueduct level. Now, with support from New York State, the City is prepared to make this project a reality and reshape our Downtown for generations.
