(Tuesday, May 29, 2018) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren invites the community to the Food Truck Rodeo from 5 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, May 30 at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 North Union St. Local mobile food vendors will offer creative cuisine and comfort food accompanied by live music by Tommy Brunett Band.

“Food Truck Rodeos have become a must-do Rochester tradition,” said Mayor Warren. “The first Food Truck Rodeo of the season means that spring is here and summer is right around the corner. I invite the whole community to come to our award-winning Market for fantastic food and great music from local talent. Events like this greatly enhance the quality of life in Rochester, bolstering our efforts to create safer/more vibrant neighborhoods, more jobs and better educational opportunities for our residents.”

Food Truck Rodeos are held from 5 to 9 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month, through September. The full Food Truck Rodeo and band line-up is as follows:
• May 30: Music by Tommy Brunett Band
• June 27: Music by Earthtones
• July 25: Music by Something Else
• Aug. 29: Music by Miller & The Other Sinners
• Sept. 26: Music by Tim Britt Band

Attendees are encouraged to carpool and to bring folding chairs, as seating is very limited on Market grounds. Free shuttle service from the East End Parking Garage will begin in May. More information is posted at www.cityofrochester.gov/marketshuttle.
