(Friday, June 8, 2018) – Find a special bargain or hunt for a unique treasure at the Community Garage Sale at the City of Rochester Public Market on Sunday, June 10.

“The Greatest Community Garage Sales at the Public Market are terrific for finding bargains and treasures of every imaginable kind,” said Mayor Lovely A. The Sunday Community Garage Sales, which run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., bring dozens of garage sale-type vendors together in one place, creating a huge variety of bargain collectibles and curiosities, as well as practical items such as clothing, tools, bicycles, sporting goods and much more. Future Community Garage Sales will take place on the following Sundays: June 17, 24; July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; Aug. 5, 12, 19, 26; Sept. 9, 23, 30; Oct. 7 and 14.

Individuals and organizations interested in selling items at the Market can rent a 10-by-30-foot vending space for $30 per event. Commercial vendors are also welcome. In addition to the Sales, cafes and food stands on the grounds of the Market and in the Public Market District are open for business on these Sundays.
