(Wednesday, July 18, 2018) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren announced today that gospel music talents from across the community and country will perform at the sixth annual Gospel Jubilee at the City of Rochester Public Market (280 N. Union St.) from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 29.

Elim Sanctuary Choir, the primary organizer of the event in partnership with the City of Rochester, will headline the show. Other featured performers include Michael Bruce, Carlton Wilcox Live, the New Spiritual Jubilators and Elder Malcolm Wilson & Joshua's Generation.

“Rochester is rich with inspirational musical talent,” said Mayor Lovely Warren. “And the combination of outstanding local and national acts will result in a truly phenomenal gospel showcase. We are proud to host cultural events because they create safer, more vibrant neighborhoods, more jobs and better educational opportunities.”

Admission to the event is free. Food and drink vendors will be on site. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs, as seating is limited on site.
