The City of Rochester recently received a planning grant through the National Recreation and Parks Association to create a ’10-Minute Walk to Parks’ access and activation plan.
Through this grant, the City and its partners want to identify perceived barriers to park access and use- and develop recommendations to improve overall park access and park programming.
The City of Rochester is focusing its efforts on five parks across the city including: Don Samuel Torres Park, Jones Square Park, JR Wilson Park, Pulaski Park, and Tacoma Playground.
