(Thursday, August 23, 2018) – Tickets remain available
for the Rochester Summer Soul Music Festival, to take place this weekend at
Frontier Field Downtown.
“Stone Soul Saturday,” August 25, will feature: Angie
Stone, Musiq Soulchild, Al B. Sure, Raheem DeVaughn and Kindred the Family
Soul. “Funk/Soul Sunday,” August 26, will feature: The Mary Jane Girls
featuring Val Young and the Stone City Family, Morris Day & the Time, Cameo
featuring Larry Blackmon and George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic.
A free community block party will take place directly
outside the stadium from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and will feature a
community stage, music, children’s activities, a health zone, local vendors,
food trucks and other activities.
General admission tickets are $40, field access standing
tickets are $75.00 and VIP seating is $120.00. A two-day/combined package price
is $55 general admission, $105 for field access standing and $165 for VIP
