(Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren announced today that Rochester Animal Services will host a one-day, free pet adoption event. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Rochester Animal Services Center, 184 Verona St.

Thanks to support from Best Friends Animal Society and the Verona Street Animal Society, adoption fees will be waived for all cats and dogs six months and older that are adopted on Saturday.

Please bring a collar and leash or pet carrier to ensure that pets are transported to their new homes safely.
