News Release - City Collecting Warm Coats for Bringing Christmas Downtown 2018

(Monday, Oct. 29, 2018) – For a child in need, a warm coat is a hug that lasts all winter long – so share the love this holiday season as Mayor Lovely Warren, the City of Rochester and 103.9 FM WDKX accept donations of winter coats and toys for the annual Bringing Christmas Downtown celebration in December.

New or gently used, dry cleaned coats and unwrapped new toys can be dropped off at City Hall, 30 Church St., from now until Dec. 3.

This year’s Bringing Christmas Downtown event is sponsored by Excellus, Dairy Queen, the Rochester Jamaican Organization, the Rochester West Indies Festival Organization, St. John Fisher College, the SNAP Foundation, the Eta Rho Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Creative Eye Photo and the Buffalo Bills’ LeSean McCoy and his foundation, Shades of Greatness.
