News Release - Free Sexual Harassment Prevention, Narcan Training for Small Businesses

City of Rochester News Release

(Monday, Oct. 29, 2018) – The City’s Department of Neighborhood and Business Development is partnering with the Monroe County Health Department, area business associations, The Cinema, East High School, Phillis Wheatley Library and The Aquinas Institute of Rochester to provide business owners with free Sexual Harassment Prevention and Narcan training.

Training sessions will take place as follows:

  •  Wednesday, Nov. 7, Phillis Wheatley Community Library, 33 Dr. Samuel McCree Way:
    •  9 to 10 a.m. Opioid Epidemic and Narcan Training 
    • 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
  • Thursday, Nov. 8, The Cinema, 957 S. Clinton Ave.:
    •  12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sexual Harassment Prevention Training;
    • 2 to 3 p.m. Opioid Epidemic and Narcan Training 
  • Tuesday, Nov. 13, East High School, 1801 East Main St.:
    • 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Opioid Epidemic and Narcan Training
    • 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
  • Saturday, Nov. 17, Aquinas Institute, 1127 Dewey Ave.:
    • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
    • 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Opioid Epidemic and Narcan Training
Attendees will be supplied with a Narcan kit courtesy of Monroe County.
